Saturday Wax Guess
It's raining in town, snowing in the park - but that could change overnight. Its still a bit early but some people want to go out and buy wax Friday morning. Without any testing to back it up John is sticking his neck out and calling it as..Glide: LF Graphite + HF Blue + either GoldFox or hfC15 powder. At this point you are probably safe putting on the first two layers and waiting for an update about powder.
Grip: If there's more rain than snow overnight, then base would be Super Binder + 3-4 drops of blue klister mixed in. If we get more snow than rain, and the grooming does go so deep as to mix in lots of ice Super Binder on its own should hold up. On top of that would be either Orange Fluoro or K15.

People are already asking "What's the weekend's wax going to be?".
Its a little early yet to make a wax recommendation for the weekend,
but rest assured that we will be testing and posting info here. You can read up out why we use Vauhti waxes as well.
Check back Friday afternoon for both grip & glide the classic races on Saturday, and then again on Saturday afternoon for a glide wax for the Sunday skate races.
Until then, visualize the course, rest and eat well. We'll be doing some waxing and testing!
PS - You can always have your skis stone ground and/or waxed for you!
