Alana Thomas
Alana moved to Ottawa in September 2007, transfering from the University of Toronto to Carleton in hopes of finding better training opportunities and a great city to complete university in. Two years later she is showing no signs of ever wanting to leave Ottawa, despite being nearly done her undergrad at Carleton. She continues to be a member of the Ontario Ski team and is starting to worry they will soon notice she isn't a junior anymore. Recent successes include several top 5 and 10 place finishes on the Canadian circuit last year, representing Canada, Carleton and XC Ottawa at the World University Games in Harbin, China and successfully convincing Anna to move to Ottawa and join XC Ottawa with her!
When not skiing Alana studies Economics at Carleton and tries to get as many 6 hour naps in as possible.
