Another strong performance from Gavin, this time in the 4x5km relay secured the Ontario Team a Gold in the Team Relay at the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Gavin didn't do it alone. Mark Doble lead off the first classic leg, followed by Len Valjas on the second classic leg, Gavin on the first skate leg and Jesse Winter as the anchor. Gavin did shoot Team Ontario from 4th to 1st on the 3rd leg of the realy with a time of 11:48 helping ensure the victory.
Gavin has had an outstanding week: 4th, 2nd and now 1st!
