There is an information session at the Mlacack centre in Kanata on Saturday and a used ski swap on Sunday.
The bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit program is for kids ages 4-12 who progress through a number of levels and learn to ski well, while playing games and having fun on snow. Its a great way for kids and families to do sport in the outdoors in a very economical way.
For kids who have completed in the Jackrabbits Program, and would like to continue skiing as a life skill, I'll be running the new Track Attack Program for the club, for kids 10-14. You can get more info here:

Finally, we have a small program for adult skiers targeted at the parents of the Jackrabbits who learn to ski while their kids are learning. Unfortunately, our instructor for this program can not join us this year, we are looking for a replacement. Please contact me if you would like to volunteer your time to this very worthy cause.
Our club home is now at the YCamp out on 6th line Road, around 10 minutes drive from the Alcatel Campus in Kanata North. We have a small network of trails that we maintain and groom and let's just hope for more snow than last year. Our club tentatively plans to put on a small race for kids in the last week of Feb...more details to come.
So, please drop by the website and in person at Mlacack this weekend and learn everything that we have to offer for XC skiing in the west end. You'll be surprised by all our services and if you love skiing and want to coach kids, we are always looking for helpers!
Sincerely
