All you skier/part-time meteorologists can ease off on the predictions, because the weekend of November 9th-10th marked the first snowfall in the 2013-2014 season, and thus, the end of XC Ottawa's 2013 Snowfall Contest. The flakes were flying in Ottawa early afternoon on Saturday, November 9th, and by 4:30PM our XC Ottawa Chelsea webcam registered complete coverage! It was a white and fluffy end to a fantastic contest.

Our team had been out doing intensity on rollerskis just hours earlier, but by 9PM Saturday, there were some serious snowman-making opportunities. Luckily the group was able to get out first thing Sunday morning to enjoy the fruits of Jack Frost's labour.
