The weekend started off as planned, with lots of discussion about skis, a great rollerski workout and then some wood chopping. During our 1 hour of wood chopping it suddenly turned into winter!

After dinner, the grinding continues...
The power went out at about 8pm
A good excuse for a lazy morning with yummy pancakes made by Zach (luckily they have a propane stove)
Zach measured 28cm on their porch
After the pancake breakfast we headed to Dusty Ridge not far from the Caldwell's house to do some amazing skiing!
Thanks very much to the Osgood Family for letting us ski on their land and for the super grooming. By far my best ski in October at sea level!
