The winner of the 2008 First Snow Contest is - Randy Storey!
You may remember Randy from his past Keski reports - 25km, 50km. He choose the contest entry date to coincide with his next trip to Ottawa. It was to be the day he hauled a piano in a trailer, emphasis on the was part. He postponed the trip after seeing the snow.
As a prize he receives a FREE Gatineau Loppet race waxing, Clif Bars and Eload. (Not a trip to somewhere warm!)
With the power going out a few times during the storm the webcam came and went as well but it is clear from the 2008 First Snow Video that there was full coverage sometime around 9pm on Oct. 28th. Here's the last image the webcam provided before power went out in Chelsea.
