Some XC Ottawa members are on site in Falun Sweden at the World Ski Championships supporting Mark Rajack from team Trinidad and Tobago, who is taking part in his first ever international competition.

This position is intended to attract new and aspiring coaches in skiing, either former or current athletes who are interested in pursuing coaching as a career or part-time employment.

Overall, it was a good weekend of racing for XC Ottawa, especially the women who were 2,3,4 on Saturday and 1,3,4,6 on Sunday!

With the temperature not even going below zero last night, the clouds helped slow down the melting caused by the sun, letting the track stay icy for the morning's qualifying rounds in the sprint.
