With the skate sprints behind us, 7 members of XC Ottawa were once again ready to tackle Canada's best skiers in Canmore

XC Ottawa in Canmore Alberta readying themselves for the 2011 Ski Nationals. Perfect trails and amazing accommodations should set us up for a successful week of racing! :)

Despite having one of the best training venues in the world, eventually skiing the same Gatineau Parkways all winter can get a little boring. To change things up, why not try going for a back country ski!

The expression “No news is good news” seems to suit this year’s XC Ottawa RCLT ride. No rain, no punctures, no crashes, no sun burns, no separating of the pack, no “bonking”... I don’t think it gets much better than this!

The start to another awesome weekend of racing!

March 21st marked the last race of this year for most XC Ottawa racers, and what better way to end the season then with a gruelling 50km Skate race for the men, or a 30km skate for the women! Some great racing by the team on our last day of Nationals
