Racing is still in full swing for XC Ottawa athletes. Here is what we're up to, and what we'll be doing in March . . .

Today, only 5 days after the Gatineau Loppet 50k event,  Karl and Megan are racing the famous American Birkibeiner in Wisconsin - the largest ski race in North America. Here are the elite skiers they will be competing against.

Looks like they both had great races - with Karl finishing an impressive 11th (top Canadian) and Megan 18th in their elite fields.

Karl raced 30k at Easterns, 50k at the Gatineau Loppet (lead pack, 5th), and 50k at the Birkie . . . that's a lot of fast skiing!

Meanwhile, we have three athletes who have been competing at the Canada Games. Colin and Kyle have been doing a great job representing Yukon and Newfoundland, and Vesta has been guiding Margarita Gorbounova in the Para Nordic Races, with much success!
  • You can check out Canada Games results at Zone 4.
