Overall, XC Ottawa’s 2007-2008 racing season was one of the best and most consistent, with good performances from the early races in November through to Nationals in March.
The 2nd NCD roller skiing time trial of the fall took place Sunday Nov. 6th. Thanks to Brad Jones, Judi Agnew, John Langstone, Jacques Dumont and the many other volunteers who made this possible.
One of the interesting aspects of training with the xcottawa.ca racing team is that because a significant portion of the team works regular office hours during the day, sometimes, if you want to train together it has to be either very early or relatively late.
Yes, it was cold . . but some thermometer reached the magical minus 20 mark and the races were a go, with only a half hour delay.
