A new season of training has begun, and we are now starting on week 4 of the year’s training plan. Today is our first official team practice, so we thought it was also time to update all of you on the team for this coming season.

XC Ottawa’s Kyle Power and Sheila Kealey couldn’t have asked for a better end to the JSXCRSC (John Suuronen’s XCOttawa Roller Ski Cup) season. Ten men and eleven women toed the line, and the battle was unrelenting from start to finish.

Last Sunday Thea’s race was held at Nakkertok North, continuing an Ottawa/Gatineau area tradition as the highlight of the NCD race circuit as well as a critical tune up before national championships for xcOttawa and other club and team skiers.
Team XC Ottawa suited up for the last race of the Trials/Haywood NorAm series in TBay. It was another lung burning day at Lappe and the team fought hard for some good results.
