Last weekend two XC Ottawa skiers, Megan and Dave, travelled to Sudbury to represent Carleton University at the Ontario University Championhips. The races took place at Laurentian University on some fun, challenging and well groomed trails.

XC Ottawa athletes will be competing in early season races in Sovereign Lake and Canmore.
The race is a typical ‘stage race’ format where every day is a mass start event, and time is cumulative over the course of the 6 days. Each stage varies in length between 25 and 45km.
Traditionally XC Ottawa holds an early on-snow training camp in November at Foret Montmorency. This is the first year I have attended the camp, although I have been to Foret Montmorency several times before for racing.
