If you had a chance to get out on the groomed trail along the Ottawa River last year, you know how special this gem is to Ottawa Gatineau. The trail will be back this year, and better, but the initiative needs your help!
This year began back in May, when me, Karl and Tom, in consultation with our coach Pavol Skvaridlo, decided to try some very aggressive training programs in an attempt to ski a lot faster. As a result of this we all worked a lot harder than ever before, knowing that improvements were likely but there was a chance of being tired during the race season.
Overall, XC Ottawa’s 2007-2008 racing season was one of the best and most consistent, with good performances from the early races in November through to Nationals in March.
