David "Zugga" Zylberberg (sponsored by Karhu) took advantage of the relatively flat course at Porcupine Ski Runner Nordic in Timmins to double pole away from the competition in the first half of the same day pursuit. The victory in the classic leg secured Dave the first spot on Ontario's Canada Winter Games Team.
A week and a half ago XCOTTAWA had a succesful outing at the GP des Couleurs Mountain Running Race in Mt. Tremblant. This Saturday (October 2) comes the other major mountain running race in the region; the Fall Rhapsody at Camp Fortune.

Today was the first race of Canada Games, a 10km Classic Mass Start. The heavy snow stopped overnight but it was still soft and slow. The wind was strong enough that ski marking got cancelled due to the tent being blown over.
