It was a dark and stormy afternoon... then the skies cleared and the outdoor ceremony came off without a drop of rain. Skiers from all over gathered, trained then traded in shorts for formal wear. In the end the whole event was as legendary as the many fabled 59 John St. parties. Here's a few pictures...
