Top of Fortune hill, the snow was deep and wet. Slow skiing, classic was about all you could do. The snow was too wet and heavy to have any hope of skating.

Megan and Karl setting out from P10.

Coverage was good. There was about 10-15cm at P10.

Tracks were wet with water coming up through the snow when compressed. Vauhti red + silver plus klister was gliding well. Karl and Megan were on waxless.

No grooming this time, but a few people had been out ahead of us to break trail.

We had no choice but to follow the "groomers" up Burma.

The classic tracks were filling themselves in the snow was so heavy with water.

Megan on the snow bridge along Burma.

Lots of great snow!

Here we met the "groomers" heading home after a job well done.

We decided to head up 28 to Ramparts Lookout.

It was a pretty good trudge up there, more fun heading back down!

Here's Victoria Beeston headed out for one last ski with Andrew.

Victoria Beeston, all smiles for one last ski of the season.
