I'll start this series of articles by helping you get to know me a little bit. First of all I'm 21 years old. I spent 18 of those years in Almonte, a fantastic small town just west of Ottawa where I grew up. During that time I was part of a few different ski clubs.
I started out as a Mississippi Valley Ski Club Jackrabbit. When I outgrew that I skied with Hienz Neiderhauser in the Lowney Lake Ski Club, and then when I was in grade nine I finally joined the Nakkertok Racing Team. I spent most of my weekends in the Gatineau Park skiing, roller skiing and running with my fellow team mates. Five years ago I was named to the Junior National Ski Team, and when I finished high school I moved out to Canmore, Alberta to live and train with the rest of my team.
A few years later I'm still on the National Ski Team, I'm just a little older so I'm a senior. The past few years I've been on a pretty steep learning curve and enjoyed watching and learning from my more experienced team mates. My goal is to make these articles as informative and helpful as possible, so please let me know if there are any specific topics you'd like me to cover, or questions you'd like answered. I'll do my best to keep you informed in my area of expertise.
