Lately it has been snowing every day here in Silver Star. On Tuesday, Sheila and I did a time trial with the Ontario Team and the Thunder Bay NTDC. The girls did 5km and the boys 6.6. Karla Mika of INDI2010 had the fastest time followed by Brittany Webster, me, Sheila and Kate Brennan. It was a close race and was a good preview for the weekend....should be exciting!
Other than that, we have been doing lots of skiing, eating and resting. Sheila is staying with her family and friends and having a great vacation and I am having a great time with the Big Thunder Team. Its been a while since I've spent this much time with a bunch of 16 year old boys!
That's all for now....tomorrow we are headed to the race course to do some previewing and ski exchange practice. The sprints are on Saturday and a continuous pursuit on Sunday.
