Twenty-six hardy skiers came out and competed in the first annual NADC charity Time Trial raising more than $260 for the Training Centre. Conditions were cold with 5 cm of fresh powder snow over a hard packed base.
Ken Mamen led the pack in the short course, while Karl Saidla of the NADC finished the long course in a blistering 17 minutes 7 seconds, with Dave Zylberberg 3 seconds behind in hot pursuit.
Megan McTavish was in winning form at 21.04 with Alicia Berthiaume placing second at 21.44.
