After a low-key month of April for most of us (except for Wayne who ran the Big Sur Marathon!), and a gradual build up in May, June marks the beginning of "serious training" for most of the XC Ottawa team.
Weekly dryland sessions at Mooney's Bay and rollerski workouts on Sundays are the main team workouts of our summer program, and athletes fill the rest of their week with workouts that fit into their schedules, work their weaknesses, and set the foundation for the speedwork to come.
