The National Athlete Development Centre of Ottawa-Gatineau is Canada's newest training centre for cross-country skiing. Our mission is to develop internationally competitive cross-country skiers. Our market is older junior skiers and younger senior skiers wishing to further their competitive careers in cross-country skiing.
The Charity Time Trial is an opportunity for the local community to meet and compete with our athletes, while providing needed funding to the training centre.
The race format will be the same as the 'Greg Christie' time trials held in the Park over the last few years.
Format: ~5 km free style P8-P9-P8, 6:30 pm mass start.
Entries: Accepted from 6:00 pm to 6:20 pm on Thursday January 9.
Race entry fee: Free. A cash donation to the NADC is requested along with a food donation for the Ottawa Food Bank.
Donations of $25 and more will entitle the donor to an annual membership of the NADC. Donations of $40 and more will receive a tax receipt from Cross Country Canada, as well as an annual membership to the NADC.
