Skiing today was mainly stadium. There's hope to make snow the next 4 nights. For Sunday sections 2,7,9 should be atleast fair conditions.Check here for updates on conditions.

An extremely dedicated group of Nakkertok volunteers have invested countless hours this Fall to make snowmaking a reality at Nakkertok.  Here is a fantastic video that captures the journey Nakkertok has taken from winning the Kraft Heinz Project Play contest to having a workable snowmaking system in place.  Things have gone according to plan, and the early season ski loop is open!


NESSL Passes

Nakkertok will be offering early-season passes (valid from the opening day of the NESSL until the opening of the broader trail network at Nakkertok) or early-season daily use passes (valid during the same period). Such fees are a standard feature at other similar facilities in North America (e.g., Boreal Glide at Foret Montmorency, Frozen Thunder in Canmore).  The Fee structure will be as follows:

Purchase a NESSL pass at zone4.ca.

You can pick up your pass at Nakkertok during regular hours. Proof of identity and CCC Club and/or Nakkertok membership will be required.

DAILY PASSES (on site)

You can also purchase NESSL daily passes on site (cash only - exact change required) for the following fees (tax included, see above for age descriptions):

  • Adults: $15.00

  • Teen/Student/Senior: $10.00

  • Youth: $5.00

  • Child: Free

Ski teams and other user groups can book for access to the facility during Restricted/Group Access. At that time the number of users on the trail will be limited to both ensure the safety of all users.


Nakkertok is excited with the opportunity that snowmaking allows for Nakkertok Ski Club and the wider cross country ski community.  They acknowledge that the first year of operations will be a learning experience and appreciate the patience and understanding of trail users if they hit any bumps along the way.
