Pictures from the Chelsea Community Winter Trail Celebration

As mentioned earlier at this web site, the Chelsea Community Winter Trail is a major asset for local skiing and more general recreation. During the winter months, a 16km section of the railway corridor passing through Chelsea is groomed (by Lafleur de la Capitale no less!) for skiing and other recreational opportunities.
The Chelsea Community Winter Trail is directly accessible to a large number of residents and provides a non-motorized route between residences and even some businesses.
This past Sunday people of all ages were out to celebrate this community effort with some socializing and skiing at the Larrimac Golf Course. The Larrimac Golf Course is home to the Chelsea Jackrabbits and also provides access to the winter trail.
