Did you ski today? Funny, this is usually about when the rock skiing usually ends for the true die hards. This year its been over for a month. So when a few centimeters fell this morning a few of those die hards undoubtedly went skiing. Let's see...
XC Ottawa skiers are recovering from last night's Sponsor Appreciation Gala, working or writing exams.
Meanwhile, Gatineau Nordic Sports' Wayne Johansen tweeted "I skied from P6 this morning on the grass edge of the parkway. Enjoyed it!. Surprisingly, I was the only one there." (Source: twitter.com/xcskis)
Steve McLaughlin stepped up and sent us this photo from his ski this morning at Lac Phillippe. Looks great!
If you didn't get out this morning, its probably too late. But you can still ride and rollerski on the parkways for another week before those pesky cars return May 4th!
