The Canadian Triple Ski Challenge is a significant test of cross country skiing endurance and skill that is accomplished by skiing to completion, in two consecutive weekends, all of the Canadian Ski Marathon’s 10 sections, usually over 160K, as a Coureur des Bois or Tourer, AND completing both of the Gatineau Loppet’s longest races, classic and freestyle (usually about 51 K each.) So this is well over 260 km of skiing over consecutive weekends!
This year we have (so far) these inductees who successfully met the challenge:
- Erik Grimm- Third Triple!
- Carl Johnston – Third Triple!
- Ken Jobba- Third Triple!
- David Anderson
- Jim Everard
- Brian Goodwill
- Ken McNair
Congratulations!
