Upper Jock River Canoe Race

Hi Paddlers,

1. Due to the heavy rain on Apr. 2, the start and finish areas are now inundated, and with the probability of more rain this coming week it was felt advisable to postpone the race until Sat. Apr. 23. Please refer to our website at jockriverrace.ca for updates.
2. Since last year a rail fence has been erected at the foot of the hill by the river at the start area. A gateway has been left to permit access to the river and the owner of the fence requests that we use this rather than climbing over the fence.

We hope that this change of date does not inconvenience you unduly.

This short (12.6 km) early season race for canoes and kayaks was scheduled for Sat. Apr. 9th.
