It seems like we have a ton of snow left this year and no more events to enter. But wait, as you may recall, we held a 100K "training endurance challenge" in the Gats from 2002-2004, which consisted for 4x25K with an ascent of the dreaded Penguin Hill climb on each loop. Since 2005, the folks in Forestville Quebec have been putting on a great event (www.boreal100Kloppet.ca) so the Penguinman disappeared.

But with the near record snowfall in Ottawa we (Dev Paul and Gino Ainsley) thought it would be a great idea to do it again. The Penguinman 100K is not a race. Just a long day on skis to celebrate a fantastic year of snow with like minded individuals. Each loop is 25K so feel free to show up for 50, 75 or 100K. There is no timing, but you can welcome to time yourself.
