Today, for one day, I had the opportunity to test the newest product to come from one of our terrific supporters, Canadian Wintersports. The Team Carbon A.R.M. is a classic rollerski and is, without a doubt, the best pair of rollerskis I have ever used.

Almost all the Highlands Trailblazers team members travel about 100km to get to training on weekends. Obviously this is not ideal...
Each year the Yukon ski team makes the journey to Haines Alaska for a weekend of good rollerskiing and smooth roads, both of which are very hard to come by in Whitehorse.
Starting this Tuesday, May 1st, the North Loop (P8-P9) will be closed to traffic every Tuesday evening for rollerskiing/rollerblading. The closure will start at 6:00 and continue until dusk.
This season has been a big change for me, I am now working full time but still training hard for the coming ski season. The challenge with this is to get all my training done while getting enough sleep and rest.
