XC Ottawa alumni Wayne Dustin will be inducted into Carleton University's Ravens Athletics Hall of Fame, which celebrates excellence in varsity sport.
Wayne brings a vast store of racing and training knowledge and experience to our group. This year, Wayne's focus will be on longer distance events, and hopes to place in the top 10 at the National Championship 50k and the Keskinada, and in the top 30 at the American Birkebeiner.
Fisher Loppet was my final Salomon Marathon Cup race of the year. It’s a 40 km skate race at Hardwood Hills, just outside of Barrie.

What a great day to be skiing! Nakkertok put on an exceptional event with their invitational, and the weather certainly cooperated.
We are rested and re-charged from a month of April spring skiing and relaxing, and revving up again for another season.
Wayne Dustin is a two time Olympian in cross country skiing, having represented Canada at Calgary in 1988, and Albertville in 1992. 1992 was almost 13 years ago, but you can still find Wayne at some of the highest level North American races, such as the Canada Cup to take place at Silver Star this coming weekend...
It seems a lot has changed in our sport in the last few years and these trends have been particularly evident in the last few weeks.
