Highlights of XCOttawa's last day at the Canadian Ski Nationals

The Thunder Bay trials races kicked off thursday, january 6th with the 10km, 15km, 20km and 30km pursuit races.

XC Ottawa had a great day this past Saturday in the 51km classic race at the Gatineau Loppet. This race was designated as the Canadian Long Distance Championships this year and Sheila Kealey came away as the Champion with her 2nd place finish...

...with some "pursuit style" intervals!

The team is heading down to Craftsbury Vermont this weekend for the NENSA Eastern Cup Opener race weekend, should be a blast!

Last Sunday was a rehearsal for the organizing committee, volunteers, groomers and announcers helping to put on the World Cup coming to Ottawa in 2016! XCOttawa showed up to help test out the race track.
